No Additional Hardware Needed SecuriKey requires no additional hardware. That's right, it works with your existing intercom system. That means there are no upgrade costs. All you have to do is sign up and assign the new SecuriKey dedicated numbers to each unit in your intercom. Once a new tenant moves in, all you have to do is give them their unit's SecuriKey number and they'll be able to login with the app and start using it instantaneously. Let us know when they move out and we'll reset the login and keys for the next tenant. |

However, unlike a traditional intercom, SecuriKey can call up to 5 different personal phone numbers simultaneously until someone answers – making it the perfect solution for roommates and families.
How does SecuriKey work?

1  Subscribe to and setup your SecuriKey account. You'll then receive a personal SecuriKey phone number. |

 Program your new SecuriKey number in the intercom under your name. That way, when a guests clicks your name to dial you, it'll call this new number instead of your personal phone. |
3  Manage your SmartKey Codes and security preferences within the SecuriKey app. |
The Tech.With all these features and no additional hardware needed, Securikey sounds too good to be true, right? That's because we took the hardware your building already has, and made it better. Essentially, SecuriKey connects the analog telephone system to the web through dedicated phone numbers.
When a guest dials unit 104 in the intercom, the SecuriKey number is called. From there, a robot will answer and ask the guest to enter an entry code where it'll be checked against your tenant's app. If the code is valid, the robot will then return the specified dial tone to let in your guest. Tenants can even be alerted with a text message, letting them know which guest has entered. Some packages can even let tenants know when someone has attempted to enter the premises but didn't use a valid code – adding security and ease of mind. |
